That's why you need dualbios motherboards

Asus is probably the best mobo manufacturer because of stability features like this

if you have a msi z490 board without flashback, chances are that it will break 50% of your flashes, the thing you should fear more than a power outage (except when they are very common) is how the company implemented the flashing on your particular mainboard, some are just plainly broken

my pc has this issue where my monitors dont show display if the system restarts. i was updating the bios and i literally could not see my monitor and was seriously banking on the fact that me restarting the pc would not brick my computer. waited a good 15 minutes to be sure and restarted and everything worked out fine

i was gonna go with another motherboard brand like or Steel legend. but im going with ASUS because power outages happen so often during rain/storms :D

Most MOBOs come with dual BIOS (if not all) by these days. So there is no need to worry about this crap anymore

Wow, "enjoy your dead motherboard." You know I had this problem with my computer where the mobo didn't support Ryzen 4 and 5th gen cpus so it kept crashing and restarting. It did that during a bios update and just asked me for a renamed version of the same bios file. Then it downloaded fine. Just saying, this is an asus prime b550 plus motherboard.

It has fual bios

This is the purpise of dual bios

The second one is just a copy, a backup one

And yes i even managed to destroy a mbo with dual bios

I tried using the flash mode (for my first time), it had an automatic one, u had to to iinsert your flashdrive, give it power and just press a switch, no cpu or gpu needed, however.... I was trying to install a bios for another motherboard (it was gygabite, whatever name 1.1 version and I tried bios for 1.2), because nothing hapend I instaled a CPU (R5 2600X, but did not instal the cooler too) tried to flash the same version from bios manualy but nothing hapennd (also because the cooler wasan't installed and it didn't even have termal paste under it, it was just siting on the CPU, the CPU overheated and shut down one time, I got the corect version finaly and while updating the bios...., it overheated 3 more times, and good bye mbo
