Skyrim: 5 Secret and Unique Weapons You May Have Missed in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim (Part 4)

Skyrim is a game where dangers lurkers around every corner. Thankfully, The Elder Scrolls 5 is also an RPG that doesn’t hold back in offering the Dragonborn a wide array of weapons to deal with whatever Skyrim throws at you. From bows to swords to axes, it seems Skyrim has it all. However, a small selection of items are especially unique or otherwise difficult to come across, often times being hidden from the player or particularly rare. These objects are often particularly interesting and certainly worth further inspection. So today we’ll be taking a look at five more secret and unique weapons you may have missed in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

Dragonbane won't be marked stolen if you take it when you first find skyhaven temple, when the room is dark where you find it.

For anyone who doesn't know:
When first entering Sky Haven Temple, you can take whatever is there since it is not yet "Claimed" so if you don't want to kill our beloved dragon, you can take the blade when you first arrive there, and use it throughout the rest of the quest line

Kahvozeins Fang, as a quest item, won't be removed even when you are in quests that remove all items from you. Which basically means you can glitch yourself this weapon into the thalmor embassy, the markarth mines and even Pelagius' mind. This can glitch some things though.

I've been playing for 8 years and this is the first time I've heard of dragon heart scales.

Fun Fact: Zephyr's unique property isn't technically an enchantment. So you should be able to enchant it while keeping the increased draw speed.

that apply to 90% of the unique weapon in Skyrim. Seriously I lost count how many times I am excited to know how some legendary item looks like only to find it's basically just generic weapon with unique albeit weak enhancement.

The actual good thing about Borvir's dagger is that you can pick it up in the world at just level 1, when elven weapons don't noramally spawn until you reach level 20.

Stahlrim boosts ice enchants. Since chaos has ice, it boosts all fire shock and ice in the chaos enchant. Highest possible sword base damage without mods, is stahlrim with ice and chaos enchant.

The best secret weapon is the Lydia shield. Basically you take Lydia and you kind of just let her take most of the hits while you sit back and watch

Fun fact: The girl who set herself on fire trying to use a flame cloak spell has a necklace. You can take it off her corpse, and it is her necklace, as it has [her name] silver necklace. Thought it was neat

My headcanon with Borvir is that, if he was trying to make a mead better than Honningbrew, I wouldn’t doubt that he was trying to compete with the Black-Briars’ mead as well.

I imagine that the bandit is actually a mercenary hired by Maven Black-Briar to take care of Borvir before he truly became a threat to her business.

07:35 That’s interesting. I have only ever been able to harvest one heart scale per dragon.

Even before this quest is completed, if you’ve already come across the dagger, You can … put it in a weapon rack. That will remove it from your inventory.

When Tolfdir tells you about it, a quest marker will point directly to wherever you’ve put it.

Heart scales are a neat greenish toned collectible. They weight in the same as dragon scales.

Also, I’m not sure how high a level you need to be but at least after level 70 I think, ? Chaos enchanted weapons have a chance to spawn in as loot. So, you don’t need to destroy a unique weapon like the champions cudgel to get that chaos enchantment.
