Despite being a ten-year-old game, many weapons found in Skyrim are still unknown amongst the playerbase. Even the most veteran of players decide to opt for the standard Dragonbone and Daedric weapons. But in today’s video I hope to fix that, by showing you 10 secret and unique weapons you may have missed in Skyrim.

There's numerous ghost weapons. It's not just the sword. There's the Drainheart Sword, Drainblood Battleaxe, Drainspell Bow and Ghostblade. All are spectral.

Everyone know that enchanted fork is the best weapon in Skyrim.

Wish they'd mentioned the following: Steel battle-axe of fiery souls(found on the back of the throne in the end of a not quest but random encounter at ironbind Barrow, it has a unique enchantment that can be disenchanted which deals ten points of fire damage as well as soul trap in the same enchantment) and it's in vanilla pre-dating any dlc

For windshear though, it doesnt necessarily hav a high chance to stagger. It staggers every hit

The problem with Keening is that not only does the weapon have no way of recharging, its enchantment only lasts for one hit then its gone

My favorite thing about the Ghost Blade is that it can be improved using Ectoplasm. I love weapons that have unique ingredients for improvement.

bloodskal blade to be fair is basically the moonlight greatsword in dark souls
bc they both shoot a laser projectile espically from a distance
still its a dope weapon it went perfect for my Daedric assassin build one time

I'm surprised to find that the Glass Bow of the Stag Prince wasn't included. It's one of the more difficult items to get your hands on. Since the owner, Falas Selvayn, is marked as essential, you can't just kill him and loot his body. You need to pickpocket him. And since he has the bow equipped by default, you need a high skill level. There are ways around that problem, though 😉.

Usually, my favourite weapons are those I craft myself. An Enhanced Drarven Crossbow, enchanted and tempered.. the real Tamriel sniper :)

Also in Skyrim VR the Bloodskaal Blade gets a bit Broken.. it works on heavy attacks but since you can do them very quickly in VR the effect is much more potent :)

I played Skyrim for 7 years and never found any of these, makes it feel like a new game.

One unique weapon I've never seen anyone mention is the Akaviri Sword that can be obtained from the blind mothpriest in Fort Dawnguard. The only way to get it is to pick-pocket it from him. I think it uses the same model as the Blades Sword and Bolar's Oathblade, but it's uniquely named as an Akaviri Sword. I don't think it can be improved, but it can be enchanted.

To celebrate Skyrim on the Switch, the Master Sword and Zelda Items should have been added to All Platforms of Skyrim. Not just the Switch.

Bloodskal Blade is easily my favorite weapon ever. I want a real life replica

10 year old game? This sucker is nearly 12 years old. I think it may have broken records on how many times it has been re-released on different platforms. While I'm here, a big "thank you" to all the modders who have given us such wonderful mods.

Unfortunately, Keening only has ONE charge, so unless you have an enchanted item that gives you 100 percent magic reduction, it's basically useless

I'm happy to say, I'm familiar with all of these (other than the Master Sword, sort of, as I don't have Skyrim on the Switch), though I'm more opinionated about some than others, specifically their acquisition.

Namely, I love getting the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate because, honestly, the Dwemer ruins on Solstheim are probably the best dungeons/levels in all of Skyrim (base or any mod I've experienced); their each unique, fun, intuitive, but not so long and arduous as to "overstay their welcome" (and I always appreciate Dwemer ruins without Falmer in them). But getting the Ghostblade sucks because I HATE Ansilvund (partially because I had three successive playthroughs where more than a dozen radiant quests targeted that dungeon--and it's possibly the longest dungeon in the game that can be a target of radiant quests).

I was able to find Bolar's Oathblade twice without having any specifications met. Just found the cave it's in

Too bad you can't disenchant the Bloodskal Blade to put it's enchantment on the Master Sword...tho I guess there are workarounds for doing that.

I'm not sure how secret this one this, but Nerveshatter is an absolute beast. I've gotten most of the ones listed in the video but I still end up going back to Nerveshatter hahaha
