Awesome vid as always! I was looking forward upgrading my Synology NAS but then i found out Synchthing, a very versatile file synchronization app was no longer going to be supported due to the new methods DSM handles folder permissions, so i guess Im stuck for now.

Thanks for posting your informative video. I had recently updated to DSM7 on my DS720+, and was disappointed to find that Synology had packaged an outdated (beyond service life) Python2 package, rather than including a Python3 package (3.6 would have been nice, at a minimum). Any insight on that issue? Synology’s website/forum is not forthcoming. Thanks.
