Does your family eat a bunch of avocados like we do? 🙋‍♀️ I stumbled across this hack and thought it was genius, until I did a little further research. 😬 Listeria and Salmonella are sometimes found on the outside of avocado skins. Since the avocado skin is so thin, keeping them in water can allow the Listeria and Salmonella to permeate the flesh and make you very sick.
