You can dodge the freezing skill buy simply pressing immediately the dodge button after using the gourd. In other words, when you heal while facing wukong, always immediately press the dodge button right after its use.

It easy to just dodge his immobilize spell when u heal. There like 1 2 second u can see his motion to dodge it.

Extra contacts. He actually doesn't drink the gourd if you don't drink while he immobilizes you. If you actually look at the movement he's doing before he attacks you, you can just Dodge and then drink after and he won't take it gourd

If you spam the dodge button while you heal you can avoid him immobilizing you and taking a sip

Wukong will also grab your pole if you use it to lift yourself and try to slam it on him. He will then slam you down with it.

Sun Wukong is likely the most badass boss I ever fought in any game period

Despite that I hate fighting him because of how hard he is to defeat.
Oh I mean on playthrough 5 that is.
Used to be ok.

Fun fact, the first tiger vanguard is the son of the secret tiger vanguard. They created the rock solid spell, thats why when u use it on the old one he says things about it lol

Not really heal himself ... it's a taste of your drink... if u add poison in it he also will have debuffs

If you are far away from Wukong then he will not be able to steal your gourd

Idk why ppl r saying he does not heal.. YES HE HEALS, he heals the same as us, it's just his HP is too high so it looks like he didn't heal But if u look carefully u will see slight increase in bar
