Also to add, each NG+ run gives you another curio slot every time you defeat the tiger blacksmith up to 5 slots. Furthermore each run lets you active another perk of the relics so the time when you at NG+++ you have all relics fully activated, which will unlock the great sage stance from the final fight as a permanent feature

Bonus tip: Put on your weakest weapon and tankiest armor when you fight Venom Daoist for the first time, and bring as much mana for Immobilize as possible. Whenever his back arms are near to the ground, immobilize him and start hitting them. They will break with a burst of green blood. Once you break the four lower arms (leaving only the upper shoulder ones and his normal arms like in the second fight), kill him for the legendary Venomous Armguard.

Why is this important? Besides the Mantled with Might achievement, the Venomous Armguard is busted as all get out. It acts as an alternate piece for the Centipede armor set with 30 defense, so you can get the Poison Ward bonus, and adds 3% crit chance by itself. It's better than 16 more defense and 6 poison resist on the Centipede mythical arms... Especially because of its unique effect: Critical hits build up Poison Bane.

Pair this with the Adept Spine-Shooting Fuban Staff and its base 25% crit chance, stack every crit bonus you can find, put on the Elder Amourworm spirit and poison yourself with the Deathstinger soak - the crit poison build does insane damage, especially if you use Whirling Thrust to stack even further past 50%. Of course, don't forget the Celestial Birthstone from the Chapter 6 frog so you can poison enemies that are normally immune to poison bane.

Edit: You still can't poison 100% immune enemies like the Violet Spider. But I did find out something funny: Worm Guai egg stacks get transferred to the enemy by the Weaver's Needle vessel. Crazy how that just works.

Btw, anyone curious: You're able to start using Wu Kong's stance in any area starting NG+ 4. All relic abilities must be unlocked (hence why it takes minimum 3 playthroughs)

If you travel backward on the Somersault Cloud from the first shrine of chapter 6 and look for a large tree on a hill, you will find a chest under it. Inside is the original concept art version of the Wukong armor, with a unique perk that boosts its defense for each Wukong talent (relic perk) unlocked if you have the whole set on. I don't know if this works with anything else like the Great Sage stance, but it is the biggest defense buff in the entire game after three complete NG+ cycles, so the Dark Iron Staff gets even more broken than with Bull King.

For those who dont know, there is a move in the thrust stance that continues to hit enemies as long as you press the attack button. That move stun locks Erlang Shen in the boss fight when his shield is down.

for anyone who struggles with erlang use the plantain fan and the gourd that recovers qi, first phase active fan and use the snake transformation, just hit him into phase 2, this is the hard part you have to break his phase 2 shield WITHOUT the fan just play passive and for your transformation I recommend the snow monkey boss transformation since its easy to dodge his attack that de-transforms you, once you break his shield and hes in phase 3 hes going to do his sword spam attack place a ring of fire and use your spin to block and dodge his slam last second and activate your fan to break his armor and use all your pills to slap him into final phase and pound down your gourd to recover your fan to break his final shield and after that the fight is basically a free win.

There is a lot more. A red frog, some dude sitting on a perch (son of rocks?), a water dragon (water loong?), 2 of the poison rock dudes you fought, a giant hippo

There might be more, but I can't remember right now, but in parenthese is their possible names

Hey just so everyone knows you done actually have to do the default ending first as long as you have done the special bosses and the quests you can do the special ending
