Amazing tutorial as always. You seems to understand what’s we all wait for. Please take an attempt on nextcloud jail - Truenas core to nextcloud app - SCALE migration. I don’t see any guides that cover the backup and restore to different os of nextcloud.

I've upgraded multiple versions of FreeNAS and on to TrueNAS Core. I'm getting ready to re-image my NAS to start the Core OS fresh. I get lame errors on updating the plugins due the legacy FreeNAS repositories that does not seem to exist anymore. If my memory serves me well, this issue was inherent when upgrading major versions even on the old FreeNAS. Sad that the upgrade process doesn't address upgrading the jails as well.

This is a good exercise in jail backup/recovery not only for the jails but for working with ZFS pools. Worst case scenarios, I just delete the jail and start fresh. No life is lost here in my case.
