Not everyone falls for it anymore because the player names in the chat are always not white.The only white Chat name is the System and the System only. Edit:You can use /me in MM2 but the text font of the system when it says something is different from the /me text font. Edit 2: if you have display name system in a game with teams it won't work :/

You know an even smarter tactic? Make enough hashtags that it fills up a whole line of the chat, then say [Server]: Game will be shutting down in 30 seconds. Because of the hashtags, it will be on another line, so it will look like an actual message with no user chat colour.

I remember a long time back, I think 8 years ago, you could post a system message that was indistinguishable from the real thing, you could even impersonate any user too. Someone got mad at me ingame, so they impersonated my username and started insulting people in the server as me to turn public opinion against me, lol. Had no idea how to do it myself for awhile, but once I figured it out, I played some harmless pranks for awhile in the summer games event.

An even better way to do it is fill your chat with a random sentence so that it fills up the first line, and then Roblox automatically makes a new line to fit more words, so now you can say whatever you want the server to say, for example:

"SheckoVex: Hey, did you see the new update?
Server will be shutting down in 30 seconds"
