JBL Partybox 110 vs JBL Encore sound battle🔥🔥

Here is it guys.. the two current best small JBL Partybox's.
There are two test in this video. The Bass test and the High and mids. If you find this video quite long for a sound test, that's because each speaker test have 1 min video so the listener can absorb how the speaker performs. After both speaker are tested, i made a sequence comparison to so tge viewers will see and hear how they sound differently from each other.

Important information...

Encore (not essential) includes 2 wireless mics. *it has no external mic input. If something happens to either mic a jbl encore mic is needed as a replacement.
The encore essential has a 6.5mm mic input and can control mic echo, treble, bass with the app.
I recommend encore essential for the mic input.

Now the pb 110 is 160w with 2 subs and 2 tweeters
Both encore styles are 100w 1 sub 2 slightly smaller tweeters than are on the pb 110.
Do the math the encore with have more power available per sub/tweeter.

If you get 2 encores and use tws as a left speaker and a right speaker you have 100w of power going to each side. That is why the encore can get better bass than the pb 110. It doesn't have to share the power with a second woofer.

If price isn't in the equation id go...

1 encore < 2 encore tws < 1 310 < 2 310 tws

You'll hit hard bass and be portable with battery power

I would only go pb 110 if you want the extra inputs and functionality ( 2 mics/ guitar) of the pb 110 in a more portable size.

Any choice will slam and you'll be happy. But i highly recommend mic input on the encore essential over the wireless mic encore.

Now this is a question a lot of us are asking :D

It's strange that the 110's bass sounds so much better given the same size drivers -- I guess it's the volume of sound that's giving us that punchier bass (air volume being displaced).

Now the next is: 2 Encores vs 1 x 110 -- this should match the 2 drivers but maybe 2x the tweeters as well?

Its pretty obvious that PB110 would be better because of price range, high battery and encore has better handling when carried outdoor for hike, picnic etc

The 110 is a clear winner and in my country the price is the same! So if I will want to buy one of this, I will choose the 110

These should be an easy comparison. Same size speakers so you will get the same sound quality. With 2 you will have more cone area giving more decibels and much more bass. Price difference go me doesn't make sense though. They need to lower the encore by a lot.

I've owned both the Partybox 110 and Partybox Encore Essential, and I listened to them side-by-side extensively. The key difference for me was that the Partybox 110 had a bit more width (soundstage) to it's presentation - (interesting considering both of these speakers have dual tweeters spaced a similar distance apart) - making for a slightly more immersive listening experience. The other differences being the deeper low end and much better battery life on the 110.

JBL partybox 110 have the same price in my country with encore. Encore essential costs 200 euro new. The JBL pb110 is winner bro louder more bass and much better speaker overall

I have encore, the bass and sound quality is enough for indoor use even in 80% volume its too loud and the price is CAD365. But If you have enough budget go for 110.

I would just eq the sound to have the encore sound better in the highs and mids keep the lows as is and use bass boost 1 if more bass is needed unless the eq doesn’t work with the bass boost enabled

You've got to put in mind though the PB Encore is half the size of the 110 and is a lot lighter than the 110 at 6kg compared to 10kg. I have 2x Encore essentials and they sound much better than in this video even just one of them playing and also much deeper bass than in the video so I don't know what's going on there. (Also you put 100 in the title not 110)
