So over the last few years, the JBL Partybox 110 has been my favorite mid sized box speaker to recommend… and I feel that the 110 is more than enough for most people, it sounds good, it get very loud off of its internal battery, it has a ton bass, and it has a really good looking light feature. But now, we have the JBL Partybox Club 120 which more refined and it has some important upgrades over the 110. Nonetheless, today we’re going to see the the Partybox Club 120 is all about and we’re going to see if it worth upgrading if you already have the 110.

So... I got the 120. And the battery at 80% volume w/ no lights and no bass booster last you about 3.30 hrs. The 6 to 7 hrs is promised is only if your using it at 40% or less volume and still no lights and no bass. I do wish it had a bigger battery as it's now removable. Other than that this speaker is great over all. Just wanted to let you guys know my side story with the life battery.

120 has some nice upgrades and I definitely like the swappable battery But they should have kept the rubber bumpers from the 110 so you could lay the 120 on it’s side! Thanks for the video!

Really thanks for this video, been looking for it as I’m going to upgrade it from my Sony XP500. I gotta say, I love the light feature 🙌🏻🤍🤍🤍

I really wish 320 had the same style handle as 120. Makes it much easier to carry with one hand.

I think the light feature on the 110.Almost beats the light feature on the 120 my opinion

BJ's Wholesale Club is running a great deal until 10/31/24! The JBL Partybox 110 Speaker is currently on sale for $249.00. That's a better price than what Amazon and the JBL website are asking.

All speakers moving forward should be hot swappable!

If I had to choose between the 110 and 120, I'd go for the 120. It has better sound, gets louder, and looks better.

Why do I prefer 110, is it because the 120 is harsher?

Just to clarify, if I use my speaker and plugged I need to remove the battery?

I am trying to decide between getting the 110 or 120, but I'm not sure about what is better for the price. Should I get the 110 for 270-280€ or the 120 for 350-365€? Right now the 120 would be at 350€ and the 110 at 300€, but the prices change weekly, if not daily. So what should I go for?

So nice review 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 thank u so much dfntly my preference !

2 mic outlet with same volume sound quality
Can tweak the equalizer better using app.
Ac/dc feature right??

So is it safe to remove the batt and just directly plug it in the outlet? Cos i prefer that one plugged..

I worry the batt might over charged when using while plugged in 😅😅

All right guys don't bother with these. After hours and hours and days of struggling trying to connect two 120s in stereo, I've learned that you cannot connect them in stereo through auracast, only Bluetooth. Also these don't work on the JBL One app, only the party box app. So that means you cannot use the JBL light sticks which I was trying to do as well unless you connect through auracast which means you can't play two 120s or 320s in stereo. Furthermore these are not Wi-Fi capable only the ultimate is, which I have as well. So basically these are about as useful as the last generation because they're still only If you want to pair them in stereo. There's not much information for these on the web which I searched and searched. I went on Reddit and JBL forums and everything. So I'm giving this information through experience.
Please pin this comment!!!

I have a partybox 310 and a partybox ultimate and I wanted to pick up the 110 but I'm not sure I should because of the volume difference. In your opinion is the partybox 120 enough of an upgrade to justify not being able to wirelessly pair it to my 310?
