Surely it can't be long before Microsoft bring us a colour function, and a font function, which return the number or name of the attribute? It would be so simple, and they've clearly done it under the hood in the filter by colour option. Bill, I think you should use your massive influence to campaign for: COLOUR(range)*
FONT(range)
ISBOLD(range)
ISITALIC(range)

and so on. Only you can free us.

*I believe that the only reason that they haven't provided this function previously is because it would spark a war between the British and the US over the spelling of the word colour.
