Putin Ally Sent to Tehran as Iran Prepares To 'Punish' Israel | israel Vs Hamas | News18 | N18G

The US commander in charge of forces in the Middle East arrived in Israel for “joint preparations” over an expected revenge attack from Iran and Hezbollah.

General Michael Erik Kurilla met Israeli army chief, Lieutenant-General Herzi Halevi, and “held a joint situational assessment on security and strategic issues, as well as joint preparations in the region, as part of the response to threats in the Middle East”, a statement said.

Meanwhile, a senior ally of Vladimir Putin arrived in Tehran for talks with the Iranian president and his top security officials as the Islamic Republic weighs how to “punish” Israel.

I still have one of the 50, 000 high quality Black Russian Navy manual mechanically wound watches, with a black stainless multi-linked band. It was commission by Gorbachev himself and made by the finest Russian watch factory in 1991. It has two crossed flags and a Russian Cruiser on the face of it. I think most of the rest of the watches were destroyed after the USSR ceased to exist in 1992. Mine is still brand new, unworn and still in the box. it still works after fine 35 years, and yesterday was the first time I tried Russian importer sold it to me for an undisclosed price. It has two signed letters titled "A piece OF history. and the Russian manual says for it to be wound once ever 24 hrs. The importer brought 100 of them into Canada, then later toured the watch factory bought 1000 more and gave them to Russians, probably Navy personal.
If Putin wants it, he can possibly trade it with me for something of equal value. It is a piece of history so it's going to stay where it is, in the box. I'm a bit like Forrest Gump. lol
