SUMMARY:
Clogged arteries, also known as atherosclerosis, is caused by plaque build up in the arterial wall.
Plaque is partially made of cholesterol, which comes from the foods we eat. So eating foods with low LDL levels helps reduce plaque build up in our arteries.

Eating fiber is also a great way to reduce the amount of cholesterol in your body before it gets into your bloodstream because fiber binds to cholesterol and removes it from your body.

Sorry, but I strongly disagree with your demonization of butter and full fat dairy as that information is severely outdated. Full fat dairy, especially grass fed full fat dairy, is loaded with many healthy benefits such as omega 3s and CLAs(conjugated linoleic acids). Removing the fat strips those nutrients away. Butter, especially grass fed and European style butter, is full of essential vitamins and minerals like vitamins A, E, B12 and K. It also contains CLAs and the anti inflammatory butyrate. Recent studies have shown that there is no link between the saturated fat found in butter and full fat dairy and increased risk of heart disease. In fact it's the opposite. Butter and full fat dairy have been linked to a reduced risk of obesity, diabetes and heart problems. Like everything else though, it just needs to be consumed in moderation.

You don't understand the whole picture, I am on a whole food organic diet lots of good meat and vegetables. My cholesterol is 310, my ldl is 205, my triglycerides is 31, my hdl is 80, my cardiac calcium scores are all 0

Oxidized LDL will especially stick to arterial walls. So be sure you get plenty of antioxidants.

Sodium is necessary for life you need about 4 grams of salt a day or 2 of sodium, your blood has 9 grams of salt and you should balance it with potassium, calcium, magnesium

Lady, you are totally out of date ….. the only cholesterol which is bad for us is the « oxidized cholesterol » which is the result of eating too much sugar and too many fast carbo hydrates ! The 2 most efficient diets to clean out arteries are KETO and carnivore ! Unfortunately, you seem part of the roughly 90% of all doctors who have no idea about healthy nutrition !

Outdated. High HDL means you are absorbing too much cholesterol from your diet so that you have to produce lots of It in order to try and eliminate as much as possible. An HDL over let's say 60 mg/dl in men and 70 in women is bad news.

What about the difference between small dense particle LDL and fluffy large LDL ? I don’t think you like many other so called experts keep up on the latest research. A CAC score is more important than any cholesterol measurement. Go do some more research before you tell people how to live their lives

Surprised you did not mention there are more than one type of LDL! It is a shame doctors today still order the test from 1963 which is outdated! There is a small dents LDL and a large buoyant fluffy LDL the large fluffy one is not bad there is a test called advanced lipid profile test! Otherwise I loved your video❤.
