Texas man arrested after sneaking on Salt Lake City flight

A Texas man who says he was bumped twice from his Salt Lake flights is now facing a federal charge accusing him of sneaking onto a plane and trying to fly home as a stowaway.

As an airline employee I feel sorry for the person who gave him the buddy pass. He violated the usage agreement and the employee might have been terminated as a result.

They scan the boarding passes at the door. The scanner should have flagged the duplicate before any of that needed to happen. If it isn't designed with that function it should be.

That’s an airlines mistake, why would two people be able to scan one barcode. They could’ve potentially let in a terrorist.
