BREAKING! Next Generation Toyota RAV4 Spotted?

Not too long ago, images have started circling the Internet on what could be spy shots of a new generation Toyota RAV4.

This is a very exciting time if these spy shot images are indeed what we all think they are.

Wouldn’t be happy if it gets larger. As others mentioned, if you want bigger get the Highlander.

Bigger would be better.. Especially be nice if Toyota raised the roofline about two inches or so.. It would improve visibility in all directions for safer driving.. When you can see better you drive more safely.. And it always nice to have a bit more room.. Not sure why you would not want more room and better visibility - like some people are saying here..

Increasing in size won't be "nice." It's big enough. Buy a Highlander if the Rav4 isn't big enough.

I know this spy photo is circulating around but I am very sure that this is not the next gen RAV4. The original Japanese source says they have no idea what it is (when it was captured), and I feel that the front has a strong Mitsubishi vibe to it while the rear has Honda design theme. Of course it's hard to say at this point, but my bet is that this is not the 26 RAV4.

Don’t make an EV-only. Just make a bigger PHEV battery and more PHEVs! I say that as an EV owner/lover. This type of car is for larger distances.

The level of anticipation for the next generation grocery getter is amusingly disproportionate, but... it is arguably one of Toyota's most important vehicles.

And there's high probability I myself will be driving a '26 RAV4 to do said grocery getting and light cargo carrying.

Hope it has wider and softer seats and maybe it will get one of the new batteries from North Carolina for a rav electric. Maybe see it at Chicago or Detroit auto shows in Jan. And feb.

Needs a much bigger "aggressive" front grill. Like on the Tundra.

Looks like the front end will be similar to the European CHR. Also, the CHR wrap around tailights would be included too.
