In this video we talk about the unfortunate possibility of an all new next generation RAV4 coming out for the 2026 model year and not for 2025.

Although a lot of us were hoping for a new look on the Toyota RAV4 in 2024, we didn’t see it. We are all hoping to get some break through news and update from Toyota soon for 2025, but as Kirk mentions in his video linked below, we could be looking at 2026 until we see a new RAV4?

I hope not!

Thanks for watching!

The RAV4 needs a better interior design

I would love the landcruiser design and would totally trade my 2024. If it went hammerhead I would not upgrade from my 2024 Rav4 XLE hybrid.

Hell, might as well push it to 2027 at this rate....

Do You Believe that the New RAV4 Hybrid (Every 7 yrs) 2019-2026? I'm Hoping the RAV4 Hybrid will Look More Sleek (Not Land Cruiser or 4Runner)?? 😉

Toyota announced redesigned 2025 Camry available in Spring of 2024. RAV4 follows Camry updates so new redesigned RAV4 will be announced in Summer or Fall and will be available in Spring of 2025, one year after redesigned Camry.

I for one would be fine with waiting for the '26 model Gen6 RAV4. That would mean my 5 month old Limited hybrid will still be the current style for nearly 2 more years. I love the current styling and hope that when they do come out with the next gen, they keep it rather boxy & tough looking. I really don't care for the so called "hammerhead" style and believe it would kill sales on the RAV4.

What do I think….I thank my lucky stars I ordered my 2024 non hybrid Rav 4 XLE Premium in time. Neither the boxy look or the Hammerhead look give me a warm fuzzy feeling.

Is Toyota expected to come out with a redesigned 2025 corolla hybrid with the larger 2.0L dynamic force engine?

That land cruiser style RAV4 will be terrific.

Tried a Mazda CX-5 and it rode and handled much better than the Rav.

I hope for better electic miles in prime 100 mile range would be great.
I do not mind an all electric Rav 4 for those that want it but not if it means no more hybrid prime.
They need better remote functions like digital key. The ability to share remote function with multiple people at a time. Its rediculous i have to give up my remote function to give it to someone else. At the very least the owner should be able to have re.ote function at all times while sharing it with someone. They definitely need to add the ability to close windows especially sunroof with remote function.
It would be nice if they could add a feature that if the car sences rain on the roof it automatically closes the sunroof.
I do not like the fact that you cannot mirror your screen from your phone to the display.
It would be nice to be able to watch a movie on the display while in park. We have to ride the ferry at times and we have to watch a movie on the phone since the car wont allow screen mirror. I understant they dont want people watching movies while driving but we should be able to use it when we are parked and not moving.

All in all i love my 2024 Rav4 Prime XSE. We almsit never use gas at all we can normally opperate our vehicle just on plug in range we get anywhere from 47 to 51 mile range on a plugin. It is nice to have a vehicle you can use just electric most of the time but do not have to worry about waiting at a charge station on long trips.

Would love for the new modle to extend to pugin range to 100 miles.

I am on my 7th or 8th Toyota, so I am obviously a fan, but it would be grating to say the least if they waited for model year 2026 re-design -- it just seems like they are content to rest on their laurels and just don't seem to have what I would call "innovation motivation"--the 4Runner is a perfect example. Ten years or so with nothing but minor updates over the years and now they are finally going to update it? So, can't say I am surprised if they do this, but disappointed? Yep, but I am year or two off from buying a new car (currently have a 2006 Sequoia that just turned 234, 000 miles!), so for me, probably doesn't matter anyway. I may be moving to NW Montana, so a good snow car will be essential, so hopefully they glean what they can from Subaru's symmetrical AWD system and put it in the RAV4 by then. Although, I will say it seems like Toyota's AWD systems are showing improvement, but since they own 20% of Subaru, might as well take advantage of their system (although maybe they cannot since Subie's AWD is mated to that boxer engine/CVRT set up).

Thank u for this video. It has definitely cemented my decision to move on to the Lexus NX350h. I can't wait that long for a redesign, rather just uograde to the Lexus and know what I'm getting for the next 5-6years.

Amazing to get a 7 year run with the current RAV4 design. I don’t member any vehicles having that longevity in design. Jeep I suppose

Humm, I think 2025 since in Europe the Ncap safety rating are valid for 6 years. The test was for the MY2019 so would time out in 2025.

I think the Rav4 will go more premium, not boxy. It will replace the venza.

Is it true Toyota is purposely holding back shipments to Canada because they make more money elsewhere. 2 salespeople in the business told me Toyota dealers in Canada are seeking legal action against Toyota because they are not getting enough cars. You are showing cars in your video that are not available in Canada. Ask yourself, what's the point. Are you good with having people wait for a car, overcharge for it, and make the experience a pain. How are dealer finances when you only get a couple cars a month.
