Absolutely. Great advice. Hard to do. But remember, any man who awakens a woman's love with no intention of loving her back in an authentic true way is a coward, so do yourself a favour walk away. I once had a guy asked me if I was mad at him after I let him take the lead and saw if he would ask me out or plan something for he did not but texted me if something was wrong. In the meantime, I dated other people and had a good time....he really never made the effort. I realized that I did not want a guy who couldn't step up. Bottom line....he was not the one for me.

I walked away over a year ago, then told him that once he feels brave enough to ask for my presence in his life, to just let me know. I do feel the soul connection w this man, but I'm learning that I can't heal him.. And I'm learning I can and must heal me. That's so hard for me!! To give ME the attention and fixing!!
He talks like he wants so much to heal childhood stuff, and I'm leaving him lots of room to do that. We're a soul connection I believe because we have brought each other to this awareness of the need to heal. That may be the simple reason we found each other....only time will tell.

Oh god I needed this so badly. Dealing with an "emotionally available" unavailable guy who tells me he wants something serious but after two months of dating he still doesn't call me his gf nor is he there for me when I need him but if it's about him I have to be. My relationship is friend zone..we never have been intimate, we hang out once a week. But hardly talk in between..we text here and there. I'm attached and have fun with him. The truth is, I'm scared of letting go, not sure if anyone else will step up.
