I hate that Apple are bringing out computers so quickly that supersede those from 1-2 years ago. I saved for such a long time to afford a Mac Studio M1Max, and this year Apple will bring out something to put pace it. I just hope that it will last me for 5-7 years, as I cannot afford to buy another one.

Yeah, but you have to pay for the trackpad keyboard and display on the MacBook. Read those prices the Mac mini doesn’t come with a display keyboard, or even a mouse of any kind or trackpad.

It’s the heat. The MacBook Pro doesn’t have adequate cooling for that processor, so it throttles.

I wonder if a Mac mini and a Mac Studio with the same specs would have a similar result…

I got Mac mini with m2 pro base chip and days ago I got MacBook Pro with m3 pro base chip as well. the result is Mac mini is more powerful, I was playing Resident evil 4 and 8. Mac mini runs very well and it’s not overheating. MacBook in the same conditions is overheating. Why? I don’t know. 😢
