Our head coach in high school was doing this. Idk what his motives we're, or what his problem was. We had guys confused, because Georgia, Auburn, Alabama, etc was up at the school, talking to these guys all the time; but no offers. Dude left for another job, and we found stashes of scholarships from guys who were already graduated, and working 9-5s, not even in school at all. Or guys who went to smaller schools, because that's all they thought they had.

Yooo I legit felt that when he walked in the office and the coach started hiding his letters. I ended up with a scholarship to a D2 college instead of D1 when I was the BEST player in my area… They made it seem like I was only being recruited by that school 🤦🏾‍♂️
