Very informative (as always). Luckily, I found your videos back in July 2024 and was able to view and re-watch several times, so I felt comfortable with how Medicare Supplements and Advantage plans worked by the time I enrolled in late August. Although I felt familiar with each, I used your company to enroll in my Supplement plan because you have additional insight on the individual companies such as the historical frequency of rate increases, customer satisfaction, etc. I spoke with Jenna and was given a prompt appointment (she is so sweet and welcoming!). I received several emails from your company advising what to expect ahead of time. Marcene called at the scheduled time, and we were able to finalize everything very quickly, since I had taken the time to learn the Medicare system from your videos. I had only had a few questions, which Marcene was able to answer immediately. She was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant to deal with and I ended that call feeling confident in my choices. Great content and context as always! It's great that we are starting to see more on the HOWs and WHYs on the Medicare processes itself. Most YouTube videos talk about the WHAT's. More How-To videos would absolutely be more relevant to better reflect the reality on Medicare processes and procedures. Case in point, would love to know more about how to do initial enrollment (step-by-step) for my non-working spouse using my work history, how to deal with long wait times over the national phone line, inconsistencies on process and timing in theory vs in practice, etc.

Like the video. When I started social security, I had to elect to have my existing Medicare payments to be taken out of my social security. I guess things have changed.

Luckily, I was already receiving SS when I became eligible for Medicare so everything was automatic -- unlike a friend of mine who had to apply and then had to change something after the application and then had to appeal his IRMAA surcharge. Ugh. He finally got everything straightened out but it took some time and effort.
