This story gives me hope. 8 years ago, my microchipped, desexed, female Tabby, got out of my house. I never saw her again. I had put up 'lost cat' ads, contacted her vet & other local vets, I walked around our neighbourhood every night. I even contacted my former landlord, in the previous town I lived in. Shortly after she got out, the town was flooded. I pray every night, I still 🙏, I'll be reunited with my cat. 😥🐈💔

If you're planning to move, keep your pets inside, as they can sense that you're moving or leaving them behind! I know! We use to travel a lot, and every time we started packing, they would get very anxious and run away or keep the distance. Lots of loss pets is always during a move.

Downsized to condo 7 years ago after my husband passed. Kept everything in house mostly intact until moving day. Took cat to vets, boarded for day. Brought to condo in evening, he was a bit freaked. Had his toys, bed, scratching post & other items set up for him. He adapted easily. Love my critters.

We are in f….in 2025 and have sent men to the moon, but somehow we don’t have tracking devices in the microchips inside our pets, it’s not that difficult to have that technology, the person that does that will be a trillionaire so why doesn’t someone invent that.
