I have had an Epson P800 since 11/2015 and have not had any connectivity problems and only one easily solvable problem. When I loaded larger papers, the prints would be slightly crooked (the larger the worse it got). I solved this by using the front loading feature rather than dropping it in the back. I make sure I print at least 1 photo a month to keep everything running smoothly. Great printer for my needs!

Just got the P900 and connectivity isn't a problem with these machines. Uses both 2.4 Ghz and 5.0 ghz wi fi.

Hi Scott,
I would like to know if you have ever used third party ink replacement refills for your printer to reduce costs. I read reviews from many different sources that say there’s no difference. I would appreciate your opinion.

Thanks for the info. I'm very interested in printing at home as a tool to help improve my photography. Will you be talking about the process of sending photos out to a print shop in an upcoming episode?

I understand that use frequency can be an ink-consuming factor. Printer can initiate ink pad “ink sopping” — that expends considerable ink — if machine is not used at a set frequency determined by printer’s internal electronics. So it would be more ink efficient — the premise goes — to print a few items on a more frequent basis than to batch print on an infrequent basis. Your thoughts and practices?

Printing mainly colour or B&W. Epson tend to print better B&W. I have the Canon pixma pro 100 A3 printer. Would have love A3+ but don’t have the space. This printer also does not connect well on Wi-Fi.
