Diamonds are not an investment period. They are like cars coming off the dealer's lot. But diamonds or any jewels because you would enjoy them. Not to create wealth. Unlike gold.

I prefer Moissanite, and White Sapphire over Diamonds to be honest. These options look good, very affordable, and I can get close to what I paid If I need to resell, as they didn't cost much in the 1st place. You will never get what you paid when reselling Diamond Jewelry, and I'm speaking from experience. Best to get as much Gold as possible, and not put too much thought into the "stone" you decided to go with.

Mined Diamond is Mined Diamond from Mother Nature. Nobody can change that. But for resell/ sale the real mined diamond is very difficult for a non- popular name or person. Example, I bought years ago almost 2 ct round brilliant cut ( F/g, excellent cut) and set it up as on 14k thick gold ring (mens) However, after few years I thought of upgrading to 3/ 3.5 ct round brilliant. Tried to sell to my jeweller & others who can afford it but can’t get the amount I paid . I ended up sold it to the highest bidder but less the original price. Unfortunately, it’s not a great investment if you’re not Elizabeth Taylor or Kim Kardash 😜😜😜 or in upper circle.
For now, I prefer Lab Grown, I’ll enjoy the big size I want & doesn’t hurt my pocket, same quality and big chance easier to sell if I want.
😜😱😱

Call me old fashioned but anything that can be artificially grown, infinitely, has almost zero resale value! I stress almost because there’s always going to be a genius artisan-cutter (expensive) that has to perfectly cut the hardest stone on earth! But that’s about it! The stone itself is WORTHLESS and this reality will come back and bite those buying them up the Ass
My 5 seconds of Greek wisdom 🤣
