I think we cracked the code Boyz.

First time doing Zercher Carries and my god do these feel good. I've never felt an exercise hit the abs and traps as intensely as doing a Zercher carry for 20-30 seconds.

These absolutely wipe out any weakness in your body and make you feel strong.

Try to keep your upper body straight. Don't bend too far forward or lean back. Don't use a belt, actively focus on squeezing your abs.

Pick a lightweight to try this exercise with proper form. Increase the weight once you get the right balance and posture.

If you can work up to 315lbs+ on this carry, your traps will be THICC and your core will get SOLID. It was a staple in my strongman workouts for years and I got up to 455lbs for about 50ft, just gotta do it right. It’s weird finding the balance at first since the arms are out in front, but you gotta push the belly forward hard, and squeeze the back muscles backward simultaneously. It’ll create a sort of shelf above your core for the bar to rest where it’s kinda sandwiched in between the two opposing forces of pushing the stomach out and pulling with the back.

I tried this with 155 on the bar for the first time yesterday and holy crap I’ve never felt my core so fatigued. Definitely something to work on and improve

wtf man, jason blahas ice cream fitness is the best and only plan you will ever need to do everything else is fluff and pump. lets get serious. rice and bison 4 times a day and heavy deadlifts. come on
