Enjoy this Creamy Coleslaw Recipe with an easy, healthy dressing in just 10 minutes, using just 5 ingredients. The healthy dressing is a 50-50 mix of Greek yogurt and mayonnaise mixed with a clove of crushed garlic, salt, and pepper; pour over pre-cut cabbage (hello coleslaw mix!) and finish with fresh chopped cilantro (or parsley!). It’s light, fresh, and quick to make – the perfect summer side dish for a barbecue or picnic!

EASY COLESLAW RECIPE
12-ounce bag of coleslaw mix or 10 ounces, of thinly sliced cabbage
1-2 cloves crushed garlic
1/4 cup Greek yogurt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
handful of fresh chopped cilantro or parsley
salt and pepper to taste

Combine everything in a large bowl and mix well. Adjust seasonings and enjoy!
Stirring together coleslaw ingredients in a large bowl.

Storage: Coleslaw will keep well in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3 days. At about day 4, the texture starts to break down and it’s not near as fresh and crisp. This recipe is an awesome side dish to make in advance. Make coleslaw up to a day ahead of the event, for optimal texture.

I never made cole slaw until you gave me the tip about swapping the mayo for Greek yogurt and a splash of white wine vinegar. That is my favorite way to eat it.

Thank you for the healthy, tasty, good recipe. I make my own mayonnaise with cold pressed virgin oil. Never buy from shops because of Canola, Corn or so called 'sounds good vegetable oils' But definitely Avocado mayonnaise is a good option. I try to have lots of sesame or tahini because for its health benefits especially for women. Hence, I also make dressing with tahini mixing with natural yogurt or Greek yogurt/strained yogurt. Sprinkling with some toasted sesame gives extra flavor to the salad.

Look really good. Love the fact u left out the sugar or honey. Some people do like it but i definetly dont. I find the garlic lends some sweetness in taste to it. I have even added onion powder into it and it was good. I have to try it with a mix of greek yoghurt.

Just a suggestion. When you scrape your garlic press off, use the back of your knife so you don't shave metal off of your press and you also won't dull you knife. It's safer and you won't dull your knife.
