Not only should she not have to sign the write-up, the team lead needs to get written up for changing the schedule against policy and intentionally trying to get another staff member in trouble, possibly worse than a write-up.

Once, I refused to sign a write up. Several months later, after I had switched to a different department, I checked my HR file. The director had forged my signature. I complained to HR, but it was my word against hers. I left the company shortly afterward.
