No matter how long you have been fishing, whenever you get the chance to go fish a pond or fish from the bank...do it! Bank fishing is just so much fun, but with that being said, there are 3 lures that I have with me every time I go bank fishing and in this video I talk about this and how to use them to catch bass!

BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

Thanks to YouTube, I'm now a bank fisherman with 13 different fishing rods, a 40lb tackle box, all stuffed into a compact suv where I can no longer use my center console due to the rods sticking up and changing the radio on me when i hit a speed bump! 😂😂
(I wouldn't have it any other way 😋)

Not just the Senko, but any weightlessness soft plastic is great from the bank. I like flukes and float worms too.

My top three where I bank fish are 1) the silver/blue chug bug, 2) swimming a cotton cordell spoon just under the surface, and 3) having some white flukes on hand when the largemouth get really aggressive (just be ready when the fluke hits the water). I catch numerous bass with these lures, and in the last week, three of the largemouth landed were 4+ lbs. One 3 pounder blew up the chug bug about 5 times on a single retrieve before grabbing it.

Inline spinners. Mepps #5. Squarebill or mid crankbait. 1/8 oz Jighead and 3" grub. Works well in areas that get more traffic.

I spend all summer doing exactly that: frogging mats. I started using soft plastic toads(zman black goat toadz) this year for the first time with that gama G-finesse hybrid hook and I never lose fish and can drag them through the slop without bending out a 4-0. I'm very reluctant to try a hollow body again after how successful these toads have been. Flukes used as topwater/subsurface is another summer favorite. Thank you for the recommendations and ideas, they really help me build a solid tackle bag.

I've had luck so far this year from the bank throwing a ZOOM Ultra Vibe Craw, T rigged. Color > New Penny, with the claws doctored up with Spike-It Crawfish. Had luck with a Yamamoto Senko. Color > Midnight, t rigged. Love frog fishing. Scum Frogs are my preferred choice, but I'm going to try Berkley's Swamp Lord.

One of the best reviews I’ve watched in a LONG time. Sincerely, thank you!

Medium or medium heavy 6ft 1 piece spinning rod, 3000 size reel, 10lb sufix elite. You'll never need another setup regardless of bait type you're using or heavy cover. I snag all the freaking time, and have caught several types/ weights of fish but still have yet to break the line or lose a lure one single time, ever. Stop overcomplicating things people.

Bank fishing is all I can do really. My best luck has been with Texas rigged speed worms.

CPF Lures has floating worms. When retrieved, it comes to life. It floats even rigged with a 5/0 hook.
There other soft plastics are amazing too..👍🏻

Definitely my top 3 picks with a topwater Popper thrown in when I get out early. Building up familiarity and confidence with the bladed jigs but it comes down to sticking with it a little longer. Thanks for sharing Ty

I'm a little late watching this video but I am a huge fan of bank fishing. Thanks Tyler 👍🏻

The #1 bait you DON'T wanna fish from the bank is a glide bait, because getting it back if it gets snagged once you put those super sticky hooks on it is impossible

My favorite top water bass bait is a hulla popper in the coachdog color. I have caught tons of fish with it. If you fish it early in the morning, cast in close to the bank.
