I think, the Sub is more iconic than the Daytona

The white Speedmaster is very nice, but the black dial is the most iconic.

Why is AP even part of the holy trinity. They have been a one hit wonder for decades without any margin or innovation or progression. They simply have a marketing team that dedicate themselves to their rappers and athlete to sell “hype”

The white dialed Speedmaster is a really good looking watch.

AP should just rename themselves "The Royal Oak Brand" because I swear I have never, ever seen anyone wear anything from them that isnt a RO. They are relying so heavily on an idea from the 70s it's insane

I’d probs rank the Submariner and/or the GMT M2 as the poster boy watch of Rolex tbh. Daytona 3rd.

Rare vs. iconic. Daytonas of that area were definitely more rare with lower production numbers and different dial designs. But that didn’t translate much as far as an icon till modern day. You couldn’t give them away in the early days. Today that makes them more valuable to collectors than most vintage Subs. Add in Paul Newman and bingo! The Sub has been pretty iconic since the beginning and setting the standard by which most divers today are patterned off of. Granted you can only be so creative with a dive watch. IMO

I understood that NASA bought the watches independently rather than contacting Omega. Which gives far more credibility.

Should be labeled, Most Iconic Chronographs

One moment: el primero is the first in Spanish. It's not Esperanto, though it could be. But a quick run to the translator says it ain't. Other than that, yeah the Zenith is super great. Its chrono at 10ths of a second, or even the one at 100th/s.... they're expensive but no other pieces are like them. Ah, and they have a date window, "for time's sake". I can't understand this fever for Speedmasters and Daytonas where you have just the time... I suppose it's related to tastes :D
What a beautiful video, thanks for sharing

Sinn make an official version of the Navitimer, under an unusual footnote of history. Sometimes you can find better value there, than with the Breitling version.

Maybe Daytona these days, but a gold day-date seems like the all-time king.

Honest review highlighting the greates watches. Unexplained miss however was not to mention that the Rolex Daytona was saved by getting the Zenith's movement.

Picked up a AMZWATCH's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!

Sorry, but any list that puts the Daytona above the Submariner as the most iconic watch from Rolex immediately loses credibility. The cherry on the cake is claiming the most overrated popular watch on the market is the king of Chronographs (that'll be the Navitimer) and the "lord" of all watches (which is the Sub, no question).

"Discontinued in 2022 for being too good and making the rest of the Patek Philippe catalog look mediocre and uninteresting by comparison."

Your greatest line ever Tom!

It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of MAMACOO's watch 99% of people will never see.
