Thank you Joshua! I noticed my faucet has been leaking a little and decided to try to fix it myself so I searched YouTube and I found your playlist. Very informative & great sense of humor too.😊 I plan to call Moen tomorrow and see if they will send me what I need to fix this on my own. The piece the the tool is supposed to take out will not come out for nothing. I have tried 3 different times. I try turning left and right. I think if I try any more I'm gonna strip the plastic. Every video I watch makes it look so fricken easy.

My faucet leaks too. After seeing your video, I contacted Moen but they are only willing to provide the cartridge, not the tool. My faucet is only four years old and they guaranteed it would never leak. I was encouraged by your video and was confident that they would treat me the same. I am very disappointed that they refuse to provide the stupid installation tool. Cheap cheap cheap!

got the same thing but the base is not coming off. the handle and base turn so far and then stops

My problem is I can't remove the handle. In the video, it is so easy; you just twisted it out. In my case, it refused to come out even I tried with a pliers. I am wondering what is holding it. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated

Thanks for the video. I’ve got the cartridge and the right tool but I just can’t get the tool to unscrew the nut. The part should include a handle for gripping.

Big Thanks for making this video! I've pretty much gone through the same process and there is not much else on Youtube showing this particular version with the Stem Extension kit like yours. The guy at Home Depot sold me the bigger tool and swore it would do the trick. Not so much... Ordering the #14272 tool that you used here tomorrow. Thank You!

I ordered the tool and tried to turn it counter clockwise but it will not move. Before I call a plumber does anyone have a suggestion?
