The 1178 rev H was the first nice compressor I was able to save up to buy in a Nashville pawn shop back in 1997. I know the Rev H 1178 gets the "Rev Preparation H” joke on forums but I still use my 1178 everyday it still works like a charm for stereo tracking acoustic guitars or room mics and countless other stereo tracks. I need to check this plugin out and do a shootout video.

Pulsar continues to put out high quality products. I appreciate their style, not many plugins at all but each one is top notch. The MU plug is awesome on the mix bus and this 1178 on channel busses. Chunk some SSL Native strips on the channels and you're on a very solid base template.

I would love one on the SIRaudiotools StandardClip. Great clipper and a lot of greats using it like Luca Pretolesi Dave Pensado many more etc. I would be really interested in your mindest in how and when to use this kind of tool since it's kind of advanced and you always do an incredible job of sharing your thoughts!
