For a self taught man, this chap deserves his own professorship in a good university somewhere. He is an exponential credit to Presonus and is responsible for a lot of music around the world sounding a lot better. I spent all my life in classical music and so that's a lot coming from me.

For incremental approach during Mixing, I believe the 'Mixer Snapshots' is one of the greatest things, Studio One has to offer. Also, Studio One's silent autosave is really a life saver. It has saved a lot of people (including myself) from huge issues.

Man, this video came in so clutch. That save to new folder feature is absolute gold. Have had so many problems sharing projects with friends and having files missing when they open them. Thank you so much for this video!!

Thank you, Gregor! This is brilliant! I often have situations just like you describe, where I want to try some significant experiment in the song, so first I want to save another version so I can always go back. I've always just used the "save as" feature in order to create other versions. And then I would create a separate note file in order to write down notes about each version. Now I can do it much quicker and easier without having to add an extra file for notes! I think the tips in this video can also be useful for learning the best way to back up songs to other drives, which I like to do periodically while I work. I always like to save the song to the cloud, to another hard drive on my system and to a removable drive just in case! I used to go out of Studio One and copy and paste all the files, but now I can do it much quicker and easier!

Yes, The saving options in Studio One Pro 5 can be quite confusing. This video helped clear things a lot.

The biggest thing that I got from this was using the tape timestretch setting. I am always changing tempo and live with the degraded audio or in some instances redo the tracks.
Thanks Gregor double bonus. Great video
