These molecular animations were created for a major trans-national production effort to raise awareness, educate and promote DNA science to the wider community, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the discovery of the double helix.

So many questions...How do the lower and upper units of the ribosome combine? Does the lower unit catching a transcription send out a chemical signal? How does the ribosome attract the RNA with the proper amino acid to the transcription? Is it based on covalent bonds? Amazing stuff.
