The treatment of people matters far more than trying to judge them. We’re called to love our neighbors. It doesn’t specify white, black, gay, straight, republican, democrat, male, female, or any other descriptor or variation beyond neighbor. Humans are all imperfect and fall short of the glory of God. (If we take the stance that homosexuality is a sin) Who are we to weigh the breadth of man’s sins? Who am I to judge having sinned myself?

God NEVER changes, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” (Hebrews 13:8) Malachi 3:6 says, “I am the Lord, and I do not change…”, God will never change his mind. So this guy saying that “God can change his mind” is false. And also for the few who say that “Christians hate Homosexuals”, I’d like to say that God calls us Christians to love EVERYONE(he even tells us to pray for our enemies). 1 John 4:8 “Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love”

Thanks YouTube shorts comment section for giving many examples as to why I stay away from the Christian community despite being raised in it. All I have to say is, if you hate gay people at least don’t be a coward and hide behind your religion to justify your beliefs, I’d take you more seriously that way than if you quoted bible verses at me since we read the same book but clearly came to different conclusions about it.

God never changes his mind because he’s never wrong. Leviticus 18:22 "Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, that is detestable."

God doesn't change his mind... He is omniscient, he literally cannot be wrong. He is eternal and unchanging. If he could change his mind, the human race would be done for. I'm not saying it's out of his abilities, but by his nature, it wouldn't happen.

I'm not really spiritual or religious, but I grew up going go Sunday service. Wasn't God's whole shebang that he's perfect and everlasting? Say what you want about homosexuality being addressed in the Bible, but I must've missed the update where God changes his mind

it's one of God's core characteristics, mentioned multiple times throughout the Bible. a pastor should definitely at least know the character of the God He teaches about, especially something so foundational.

I'm an atheist, but isn't saying that God can change an evolve and change his mind implying that he wasn't always the best version if himself and not all knowing which I'm sure this man's version if god is? Sounds contradictory.

God declares, “I, the LORD, do not change” (Mal. 3:6). He is “the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow” (James 1:17)
