How To Add A Conditional Index In Power Query

In this video, Melissa is going to give a walkthrough on her approach for Bhavya Gupta’s Power Query Challenge involving Conditional Indexing. The task is to add an index number from 1 for each ID in the table and begins in the row after the values in the date columns hit more than or equal 90.

Nice content! I'm amazed at what you can do with Power Query. One question though: You take a number of steps to get to the end result, all the while keeping in mind the intermediate result of the current step. How can you show the result of each intermediate step, for checking and debugging purposes?

Very detailed, expert level but very neat to see the limits of what power query can do 😅. I wonder if it might be better if the whole equation was shown from the start. Moving thru the equations in a non-linear way. I kept wondering where it was all leading. 😊
