Who the hell expected Rob Lowe to be in the Meateater podcast when they opened the Tube first thing Monday Morning ?

You should take Rob on a hunt. That would make a awesome episode.

I was skeptical when I first saw him on JRE, but Rob Lowe is a damn good guest.

I was living for the moment when Rob would use the word "literally" and say it ala Parks and Rec.: "This is litch-rly the best podcast I have ever been on..."

34:40 Elliot Marston put out an advertisement looking for the best long-range marksman in the world. Quigley sent the ad paper back with a tiny group shot in it at 900 yards while the rest wrote letters talking about how qualified they were.

50:58 the genuine laughter Dr. Randall evoked from Rob was very special. Treasure it Dr. Randall.

Rob Lowe, class act. Doesn't use his podium to lecture people about politics or lifestyle. I really enjoyed this one.

I love when anyone brings up Snook fishing. Coastal sportfishing in Florida is unmatched

New found respect (I admittedly already had some, being a 70's kid and 80's young adult) for Mr. Lowe. Let it to Steve'R to dig up some positive vibes in this truly insane world.
Thank you both (all, including Corinne).

This was the most fun Episode I have watched in awhile. The different set, the full on challenging gameplay.

Spencer deserves more credit and I hope he already gets it. I honestly believed Dana Carvey was Canadian. Rob Lowe has been great since The Outsiders.

I met Rob Lowe when he was filming "Youngblood", still a cool guy. MeatEater can have anyone on and it never loses its "just hanging out " vibe; well worth the late night listen. What gets me is the fact that we're the same age; how the heck did he get in to see Goldfinger ( man that burns me )? Great show!

DR. Randall, with an answer after only 3 words. What a stud.

Damn Rob Lowe is a cool dude. More than that sounds like he’s a, at least, half-decent father.

I have a topic that I would love to hear you discuss. Invasive species and the people who love them. Folks who have embraced catching things like snakeheads, hunting feral hogs and goats and the like and wish to maintain (or even spread) their populations regardless of the damage they can do. It would be interesting to see you target some of the more controversial ones and give your and your panels opinions. I was reading an article on Large Mouth Bass in Japan and Europe and how they have disrupted the eco-systems there but folks still spread them about. It really makes you think when a fish so common and beloved as a largemouth is a menace elsewhere. I admit, I love oscars and peacock bass in South Florida and Hog hunting is a blast, but it is pretty easy to see how out of hand things have gotten. Thanks for doing what you do. Cheers!
