Despite all the hype, confidence and cost we set against pellets and groundbait feed, it’s all down to whether the fish randomly take in the bait. The only thing I can conclude is that it’s still important to do the right things to take opportunities when presented. Your baits in the right area, presented in the most natural way and how long you wait. Everything else is down to the fish. Save some money and keep it simple.

Very interesting, that the fish know there's something not right, having watched lots of under water videos, I am under the impression that we only catch the stupid dopy ones, ,

Hi, could i clarify something- the website says £5 per month for minimum of 12 months. Does that mean i cannot cancel after a month or two?

What if you dont put hook and line in groundbait at all? Let it dangle free during cast and sink.

The two carp at 1:52 & 1:54 looked to spook on the line

I think the problem is with lead! Which is an element, which is directly under the feeder itself that gives off signals to fish with barbules. Yes I know fish are caught but I believe it's because of pack behaviour, it's a bit like when you put a battery with two contacts on your tongue, if your hookbait is away from it you catch. A scenario being the approach of carp anglers, say using a stringer as opposed to bait and lead in a pva bag, which one will catch what your after quickest. For me method feeders should have an alternative to lead. In the video they are attracted by sound and smell but when one fish homes in its spooked and their gone! One of the fish fans it to get the food away from it and in all the videos I have ever watched it's the same behaviour. If the hookbait had been where the fish moved the stone, then it's fish on!

Sorry but the area should have been raked clear first all stones removed so you had a level playing field, then and only then you could experiment with variations on the method, it just did not work and you missed a fantastic chance to prove or disprove your variations.
