The first story sounds odd. I don’t really buy the guy’s story. He couldn’t find his friend’s house? And his car started after all?

The first one…how in the heck was David not considered a suspect???
*Said he would walk to a friend’s house that was nearby…but spent over two hours ‘looking for it’, never finding it.
* the car with the dead battery miraculously started, after Erin disappeared.
*did anyone at the fair corroborate his looking for her until 1:00 am? Is the fair even still open so late? If it’s not, what time did it close? And why would he figure that she went back in there to kill some time, if it was already closed?
* Why would he wait until morning to call her family to see if she made it home ok?

Unless a lot of additional information has been left out of this…it so sounds like David did something to her.

Alaska has so many missing persons cases and murders. Especially for how small the population is.

The 1st one sounds very suspect to me. He goes to a friends house but, couldn't find it, c'mon, couldn't find HIS FRIENDS HOUSE & the car with a supposedly dead battery miraculously starts, that only happens in movies, not real life. Plus waits until the next day to report her missing.

I don't know where you got the tidbit about Erin Marie Gilbert being told to take a cell-phone, but in 1995 virtually nobody had a cell-phone, and especially not an early twenty something girl living in Alaska. Maybe stop using Reddit comments as a primary source for your videos.

I maintain that the top "So Bizarre it Sounds Like Fiction" story is the one where a man picks up a hitchhiker he soon after has an altercation with & ultimately makes it back to his truck to abandon violent hitchhiker but they're only a mile away from his home & his mother's home, who lives next door & would tragically be murdered that exact same night; a crime that would be paid for by her wrongly accused & convicted son who would spend many years in jail until the real killer was unearthed by the advancements in DNA & the big mouth of the killer: the hitchhiker.🙎‍♀️

At least Bernie was brought to justice in the end far too often they get away and end up living a full life before dying of old age without ever being punished for the crime they committed.

If the first story hadn't happened in Alaska, I would be willing to bet it was the boyfriend. But most people would be shocked at how high the crime rate in Alaska is...and always has been. It's not a safe place...at all
