OH v. GROVES (2020) - DEFENDANTS' SON TESTIFIES: Daniel Groves, Jr., the teen son of Daniel and Jessica Groves, testifies for the prosecution detailing the swelling and bruises he witnessed on his infant brother's head.

Daniel and Jessica Groves are facing life in prison in the death of their two-month-old son, Dylan. They were arrested after Dylan's decomposed body was found at the bottom of a 30-foot well near their home. His body was wrapped in plastic bags and duct tape, then placed in milk crates secured by chains, padlocks and zip ties. Dylan’s cause of death was determined as “homicidal violence.” The child had suffered multiple bone fractures and broken ribs. Methamphetamine and amphetamine were also found in his system.

This guy is testifying against his parents for his brother. What a legend.

Can we pause here to just take a moment that this child lost his entire family? He is alone.

That 15 year old boy sounds like the only mature person in that courtroom.
I wish this brave young man a happy and healthy, especially mentally, life ❤

Of their parents is a miracle.

He was not “soft spoken”. He was there to clearly defend his brother. They’re full of garbage asking him to repeat himself over and over

Why does this 15 year old boy sound more articulate and intelligent than everyone else in that room? These people are so frustrating and annoying. This poor kid. Brave AF

"I cannot hear him"

total gaslighting

This seems like the most disorganised court room and incompetent lawyers I have ever seen.

She said I struggled to hear him and the other lady replied “well you can move up here” amen

They’re playing the “couldn’t hear you card” in order to have him repeat the testimony to see if he will trip up and catch him on a detail they could try and use .

Imagine what he must have gone through before the court date, knowing he was going to be testifying against his parents, realizing there would be no parents or family home to return to. That he could end up in child services. For a 15 year old, that must have been very frightening. What a brave young man.

A 2 month old baby?? How can anyone be so cruel to even hurt a baby. I have a 4 month old and this crushed me. What evil parents.

As a parent of a 15-yr-old, this kid sounds very mature, articulate and confident. I wish him all the best for his future.

Are they crazy ? He’s loud and clear. They are trying to intimidate him

They always cry, for themselves, when the evil acts they’ve committed get spoken for all to hear.

The fact they are crying before he even starts testifying tells me they know they're sunk.

Watching trials proves lawyers aren’t necessarily the smartest person in the room 😂

I can't even begin to imagine the courage it must take, at 15yrs old, to not only face the brutal murder of your infant brother and to find out your parents were responsible; but then to go to court, stand up and testify against them. This young man is a credit to the so-called parents who didn't deserve him. The world needs more people like him. Thank you, young man, you were undoubtedly your baby brother's hero and now you are mine and a great many other people's too. I hope that in time you can find peace in knowing that despite the horrific situation you were in and the trauma and grief you were experiencing, you still had the courage, maturity and good heart/moral nature to know exactly what is right and wrong and to seek justice for your baby brother, who's life was cut tragically short.
