Fixing the milk frother on the Delonghi Lattissima One

My Dad got a Lattissima One for Christmas 2022. It worked a few times before the milk frother started producing excess steam with very little milk coming out. He discovered that the black piece that comes out of the milk frother when you disassemble it for cleaning, there should be two tubes that come out of it; one very short and one long. He found that the short piece had come off and got lodged in the white top of the milk frother (where it connects). He used pliers to get it out, and re-connect it to the black piece. Re-assembled the milk frother and ta-da! Worked perfectly. Hope this might help.

Thank you so much for posting this video! We were having a problem where the unit would not use most of the milk in the reservoir and took a very long time to produce milk. The foamed milk was also not very frothy. It seemed like the unit timed out while making it. This little piece being out of place was the exact problem. Once I carefully removed it from the machine side with a pair of forceps and reattached it to the milk air inlet assembly every worked as it should. Thank you again!
