Hello Mr.McLogan, I have gone through your 5.3 videos looking for an example which could help me solve the following problem:

Solve the equation on the interval [0, 2pi)

how is it squared tho the 1-cos squared x is it because in pythagorean theorem it goes a= b squared plus c?

first one: cos(x) = cos(x)^2 -> x = 1 since 1^2 = 1
