Oops, little mistake at 1:10. The power output is rated at 140 watts for amps 1 through 5 only (L, C, R, & both surround channels) but powered at 60 watts for the remaining 2 channels which are for 2 front heights, surround back, or zone 2. Anthem feels that 60 watts is more than enough to handle those types of signals.

How does it sound without the use of a toroidal transformer?

does it have 2 individual sub inputs? I was told the only weak link is bass management. I run duals and if this doesn't support duals I'll have to look at something different sadly :(

Can the receiver be used with 4 ohm speakers, and not compromise quality. What would the power output be running 4ohms . I’m currently running a full M&K set up, using the M&K 750’s for my LCR, and surround 55 for the rear surrounds.

I just bought the 720 but nowhere in the manual does it say if I can bi-amp the front speakers. I have the Paradigm Prestige 95's and thought they would sound even better bi-amped as opposed to bi-wired. Any thoughts ??

Being honest, to me this just sounds like an ad, not a true unbias review, you didn't mention for example anything you didn't like about the amp, no amp is perfect yet you mention nothing adverse about this receiver.

You fall into the trap of regurgitating the Anthem spec sheet and spend very little to no time going over the sound fidelity of the receiver. Spend more time talking about the source material you test and what makes it stand out as opposed to talking about it does this and that. And I'm not sure about your notion that a better power supply leads to better sound in the 1120. The better sound must equate to a "customer noticeable difference" versus to that of a golden ear. The better power source obviously helps drive more channels in the flagship receiver versus it sounding better.

PSA: this IS an ad. Anthem has very few retailers, and this video is from a retailer
