Awesome video! Going to get the 720 for my 5.1.2 set up. The main speakers are going to be kef reference 3 (demo sets, cheaper deal lol) I'll have to save for another year to get dedicated power amps for them but i think MRX720 will be awesome for the time being.

Im wondering if I have the cash to get the 1120 should I spend or or save and get the 720. I have an amp for my extra channels.

I which anthem had a MRX 920 with 9 power amp channels. while the 720 is good for 7 channels of amplification, defeats the purpose of buying another 2 channel amp . to run 7.2.2. the 1120 is greater upgrade but the price is much higher.

I was looking at this amp but was waiting to see if there are new anthem receivers coming out. Anyway, My question is how many actual watts per channel? I have an external amp to run the heights channel and surrounds, wanted to know what the main speakers would run per channel, for 7.2.4 set up?

I use a mxr510 as a pre amplifier, I will not switch to anything else ! The arc software is absolutely superior, to anything else out there.

I am not so impressed with the amplifier section (low wattages even yours shown here) so power amp on it was for me the best choice. My home theater is pretty much all magnepan, so power hungry speakers. It will not cut it what anthem offers.

But I love it as a pre especially for 2.0 (a must for me) listening pleasure. And home theater great too.

I do have to ask ? Arc2 does that work on the all the anthems ?

Prefect Explanation however given the price difference Matranz 7013 is almost 40% cheaper in price here and we don't have demo for Anthems avrs here what would be recommendation from you between marantz7013 v/s anthem 720 given price difference is this worth that extra investment?
