Moving your body and being physically free and spontaneous is massively helpful when you feel your body freeze up. It can be difficult, but try to
consciously put this into place every time you feel this tension and stress in your body, even just a little bit at a time. Slowly your body will stop holding onto this tension and start accepting it and being okay with it, allowing you to continue being your free and authentic self after feeling stress.

This makes so much sense for me, it’s been a brutal few years for me due to autoimmune diseases. That along with other large life stressors to the freeze response. Most days I’m shut down and dissociating. I feel so much better when I’m at social events and with my friends. My problem aside of the health issues, is that I can’t stop freeze response. I should go to my gym a few times a week even just to walk or get out but I feel so stuck and helpless like there’s no way out.

I don’t know if it’s the same thing or related but when I am under great stress or fear, I just can’t speak or make a sound, I can’t force myself to speak. For example when I am on a roller coaster, I notice most people scream but I end up not being able to make a sound and just freeze.

Frozen I avoid everyone so how should I connect when shut down? This advice is useless.

From my experience people are either fake or outright evil. At 40 I'm done trying with em

Yesterday I was in an English class. I started to have a panic attack then I told the teacher, and then I froze with my eyes Open for a few seconds and then the whole class was looking at me. I was so embarrassed and panicked at the same time. When I woke up I felt like I was in a dream and I got really scared. Luckily my friend helped me but I’ve been wondering why I just froze because I can’t really remember what happened
