I have a 15-year-old Sony Bravia. I really don't have a desire to replace it. I watch mostly movies, and it does fine. I'm in my 70's and I bought it for my retirement. Maybe when a really new technology comes out I'll consider something else.

My Sony Bravia 43" is still going strong since 2010 💪

Just bought the C1 last week and absolutely love it so far. Ended up buying it at Costco due to it coming with a free 5 year warranty. The first 2 years are with Costco and the remaining 3 are with Allstate. Typically the additional 3 years cost around $100 but the tv included an $100 rebate that covered the warranty. We also bought our last LG tv at Costco with the 5 year warranty and it stopped working after 5 years and 3 weeks. I swear they just know and send a self destruct signal to the tv.

Honestly it all hit ir miss. Any tv brand can crap out at any moment. Luck of the draw pretty much

Back in 2019 when I went to buy my tv from Best Buy I wanted a tcl. However the guy that helped me showed me tvs I didn’t even want. He persuaded me to buy something I didn’t want. He right away showed me a Samsung and a Lg. I asked about the tcl and he said they won’t worth the time or money that they were too dark and ugly picture. He was doing everything he could to get me to buy either a Samsung or Lg. In the end I ended up getting a 55 inch LG Nano cell 4K tv. At the time I was happy with it. It was my first 4K TV and thought all 4K tvs were the same. Now 3 years later after research and knowing that all 4K TVs are not the same, I regret buying the tv. The next tv I buy I’m ordering it online and picking it up at the store. That way no one can talk me out of buying the tv I want.

Use to sell TVs in college. Definitely ask if they have a normal input signal vs the commercial showcase demo. I often switched our TVs to Directv and people were shocked how different the picture looked from Demos. Also ask to see if they will turn off TVs around the other TVs of the one you are considering. Just seeing one vs a dozen+ in your peripheral makes a huge difference. May save you $1k.

Bought the Samsung q80c last week and returned it the next day. While it had great colors it was by far the worst picture I'd seen on a TV pixelated crap. This was a 75" model and I was astounded how my Hisense 75r6e4 was comparable at a quarter of the price. I went out and bought the uk8 it's pretty awesome so far

All products on display at Best Buy are placed exactly where the manufacturers pay for them to be placed. There's absolutely nothing random about where anything is placed.

I personally wouldn’t toss the open box tvs to the side. I have found great deals in open box.

Warning Do not buy a NON-sense TV!!!. If you really want one dish out the extra for warranty. It will not last a year and hisense (non-sense) customer service and bs. You get what you pay for. I purchased a 70 inch October 2020. Nov 2021 went out and Never came back on. I still have 2 55 inch LGs for about 7 years, never a problem. I'll stick with LG and Samsung.

i just want to warning people who want to buy a tv from Best buy store especially the one at dearborn store at michigan state or any store. check your tv or anything you buying even if its in unopend box for any damage before you take it home .. i just bought a brandnew LG tv for 449.99 from them. but, after i took it out from the box i notced a crack at the screen. i took it back to them at the same day to exchanged it, but the menager said im the one who caused the damaged, so there is no exchanged or refund.. they said the 15 days warranty thats i have on the tv is not covering any damage on the TV after i took it home.. so you guys need to becareful before you buying anything from Best buy stores, open the box and let them play it for you before you take it home . beside all that, they were very rude uneducated managers.. i just cant believe the way they treated me. they even tried to call cops on me..

I just bought a Sony X85K and I love it. Yes the Hisense UH8 is slightly better; but for just me and the wife streaming content it's pretty amazing. Bright and color accurate. When paired with the Govee T2 system, and new sony 3.1 soundbar with sub it's pretty amazing.

I've had 3 $279 58" 6 series Hisense & on all, the backlighting goes out within a year or 2. My local WalMart is clearing out their 50" to 65" TV's. All brands less than $400. They are bringing in & setting up the 85 " but make sure you get them calibrated once at home. Makes a huge difference

I have three tcl's two 65" and one 55" that I bought 3 years ago. One 65" and the 55" the backlight went out. The third tv has a round color distortion. I doubt the next tv will be TCL brand even though the price vs. the time used DID make them worth it.
