I wanted to make a video of the TVs that I bought, kept, and ones that I returned so that I can help you find the perfect TV. I'll go over the LG CX, Samsung Q90T, Sony A8H, Vizio OLED, Hisense H9G, and many more Tvs and let you know why I kept some and returned others in hopes that the Sony A90J, LG G1, and Samsung Q90A will be better buys in the year to come.

Like and sub if you're a nice person, and check out some of the links below.

Heads up for anyone looking for a 77 inch, LG is decreasing the prices significantly for this year for the 77 in variants. The 77 in G1 is releasing with an MSRP cheaper than the 77 in inch CX for Euro price in currently

I love my 85inch 950h . I returned the a9g 77 inch. I cant do small tvs lol. The 950h is a great tv its very versatile not oled black but its no comparison its alot brighter the a9g was extremely dim. The 950h has great presets as well and out of the box color is awesome. This tv has the best presets I have seen from any tv. Looks great in dolby vision dark, Dolby vision bright, and even custom for standard definition. I find this tv better looking in all content. Now dont get me wrong the a9g looked unbelievable is some things and then other things I could barely see the screen it was so dim. A9g no doubt has better contrast and deeper blacks . The 950h wins by far in brightness and highlights and processing the a9g processing was clunky. While the 950h picture is great Its not oled great but thats the trade off. Nothing like a top of the line 85 inch tv makes movies so much more immersive.

I returned Samsung q80t 75" and Sony x900h 65" because of dirty screen effect. I either get bad panels or people just don't see it. For me they were unwatchable. Now I bought q77t 65" (almost the same as q70t) and there is no dirty screen effect. It has some clouding in a dark room and in a very dark scenes, but it's a lot better than local dimming tvs and theirs dse. And of course there are also oleds that are amaizing if you are not worried about burn ins and don't have tv turned on for 15h a day like in my home :)

I’m done with LG OLED. Great picture, but I had burn-in with two model 2017 & 2018 55” after 1 1/2 yrs. I now have a Samsung Q90T which looks great with no worries of burn-in.

In the uk once you bought a tv you can not return it unless it’s faulty so you have to choose the right one in the first place

It's also about how fast a TV's processor is. That is, how fast it can open apps and that the TV software and apps do not seem to be buggy

The A90J sounds like a Monster OLED, should be way brighter than the G1

6:09 yeah, but when you have q90T you have very similiar light problem as on LG CX, now you can combat it actually with brightness.. BUT make sure to go to store and turn brightness on, I was feeling eye strain extremely. To the point that it was more comfort to me to shade the room, and if I have to shade the room already, what's the difference then ? I would say q90T have better colours and brightness, but if you plan to watch it a lot with that brightness, I would try it beforehand. Indeed that ABL limiter is annoying tho, but at least I feel like my eyes are fine

If you like the Hisense, I highly recommend the PQX for testing and comparing. 65” is sitting at only $1079 at Costco. Similar picture quality to the H9G but has HDMI 2.1 features. I honestly think it’s the most underrated and undermentioned tv of 2020.

That A90J just became all the more tempting after Sony released their RRP here in Norway - the 65" looks like it’ll cost 38k here(about $4, 5k). I’m still more tempted by it’s little brother(the A80J 65") but I’ll be awaiting your reviews before making my final decision.

I watch a lot of tv reviews on youtube. To many really but I gotta say I enjoyed this.

One major thing to consider with Sony TVs are the fact that they last several years more than even the other top branded TV manufacturer.
It's not uncommon that you hear people who bought a Sony TV lasting far more than 10 years.
In my store, I had an LG OLED, one of the cheaper ones, it only lasted around 2 weeks, DOA. From previous experience with OLED LG, they do have severe burn in as well, so you can't keep the same picture in place too long either.
I would love to see a test of burn in which OLED is more resistant to Burn ins.

I admire how you explain what's going on with the TV before I buy.

What about support, after sale, updates and other features. Do you think the hisense is reliable?

Dude, I have told people the H9G has better picture quality than Sony X900H and they get hurt like a personal insult lol. 😄, the Hisense H9G is one of the best LCD/LED TVs of 2020.
