As long as the TV you bought looks good to you, that's all that counts. Don't get me wrong, it's great listening to reviewers, but they get to the point where they'll nick pick even the tiniest thing, and dog it out, like as they got it out of the box, a piece of a corner of the styrofoam broke off, which means they had bad quality control, and they'll take off massive points off something that has absolute zero usage to the TV, and that makes me mad!

13:33 (SAMSUNG Q70A) fix the blue in blacks easily by going into 'white balance and turning the offset blue setting way down in the picture settings, (I do this with all my TV's, green down a little bit, and red up a pinch, (perhaps)) plus you want contrast up, color down, BRIGHTNESS DOWN...

as for the pixellation glitches with the circle thats the tv's processing, simply run your games in 'pc' mode by changing the name of the input to 'PC'. after that running games in gsync vrr everything'll be crispy👍
-As far as pc gaming goes this tvs way better than the other options here.

I’m not sure if I had horseshoes or 4 leaf clover’s up my rear, but in 2015 I was glancing at a flyer that came in the mail and I was about to toss it into the recycle bin when something caught my eye. A Sony Bravia 65” with an 8 speaker surround sound system, 3D, with 2 pairs of glasses, a slim PS3 ( I’ve got the original PS3, the bulky one, not sure if it’s worth anything, firmware, updates, are up to date) and a beautiful three tier rosewood TV stand for 1500$ at Future Shop ( I live in Canada ) I couldn’t drive fast enough to the store. The sales guy looks at me and said, no way, all that stuff for 1500$? He looked it up and sure enough it was the real deal. He had one in stock, I loaded everything into my truck and had it setup before my wife got home from work. She was in seventh heaven. I still have it, a ton of 3D movies and a region free DVD player. I can play a DVD from anywhere in the world. It still works perfectly. I don’t think I’ll ever have to buy a new tv ever again. I’ve never seen a tv with 8 HDMI ports. That was a very lucky day. In fact I’m watching your channel on it right now.

I had a TCL for a few years. It was great for all the reasons they stated. HOWEVER, after about 2 years the UI got so slow that the TV was just about unusable. It started out very fast, but in just a couple years, it was taking about 5 seconds to respond to your click.

On Samsung you can set up the sources as apps and they can reside to the right of the home button.

My TCL 6 series has 2.1 HDMI. Wonder if you were on an older 6 series than I have.

It is so hard to pick out a good and economical TV. This was very helpful.

I’ve had a Samsung, a Vizio, and a LG. The Samsung backlighting died within 2 years of purchase and started fading within weeks of the purchase. The Vizio was on our wall for about a week and I had to return it. The LG was my favorite. I don’t trust Samsung with the backlighting issues. I don’t like the Vizio as the picture quality sucks but I do like the LG and I would really like to get the OLED as it doesn’t use backlighting but rather direct pixel lighting.

I've been thinking about getting a new TV for some time but there were too many to choose from and I didn't know which were the best. Now that you two helped me with the "what to look for", I can confidently get one of the best two at some point near end of year. I've been subscribed for quite some time, and have taken your information to heart and put it into action. I appreciate you two serious and funny (seriously funny ?) guys...plus generous guys. I've never seen anything like TVs here, and I liked that you veered a bit. Thanks a ton for sharing.

I would have to agree about the LG. I have an LG 49 in the master bedroom, with a Bose sound-bar, and really love it. Of course, I am still watching/enjoying my LG 60 Plasma, in my TV room. It has a true Bose 2.1 sound-bar that rocks. When the plasma self-destructs, I will probably head to another LG, but this time, I will hit the OLED. Great review. I enjoyed the banter between you two. Take

TUBI is a FREE TV option that has roughly 100 TV channels for FREE. Not amazing, but Live TV nonetheless. It is a great addition to any TV as if you cannot afford to pony up for a cable or dish subscription you can get quite a bit of content at no cost.

This was something different (TVs), from what you have reviewed in the past. I am looking for a new TV right now, since the one I have is older (11 years old). I appreciate both of you for your frank reviews. Thank you.👍

I liked the TCL as well until the LED's went out 1 year and 3 months after I bought it, warranty is 1 year. Got the LEDs replaced and a month later the TV does not work at all. TCL SUCKS!
