High Tech Planted Aquarium Equipment List | Aquascaping Setup Made Easy

High-tech planted aquarium's not that hard. Here’s everything you need, to start up your high-tech planted Aquarium/tank. Aside from the obvious (which is the tank and stand), this list of equipment is pretty much all you need to run a beautiful tank. Thanks man, great video again! Your tank looks great and this was the kind of video I was exactly looking for! You may have just kept me in the hobby. I am going for almost the EXACT same setup as yours....40 gallon, lightly planted with hardscape, and trying a CO2 system. I'm a believer in the K.I.S.S. (keep it stupidly simple) principle too.

I was told I needed an Ehiem 2080 canister filter for my tank. That is 2x the $$$ I wanted to spend and seems like overkill to me, so I was about to give up the hobby. I see that you are using the Fluval 307. My plan was going to buy the Oase Thermo 350. What do you think, should work right?

P.S. Great idea on the double taps, I already bought an ADA Lily Pipe and clear tubing as well, never thought about the hassle of cleaning it.

You should get a bigger co2 tank and also I wouldn’t get the automatic fert doser I’ve used that same one and I didn’t like it
