MOM of 9 KIDS MORNING ROUTINE || Large Family Morning Routine

Today I share our large family morning routine! Over all as a large family we are not early risers... to say we are NOT morning people would be very accurate! Here is my MORNING ROUTINE as a large family mom to 9 kids, and I'm pregnant!

When I am expecting I don't set an alarm and get up early... I let the little kids wake me up.

Having a large family and meeting the needs of everyone in our morning routine can be challenging somedays. But overall we have the same morning routine each day. We wake up and have snuggles until the grumpies wear off and we are ready for the day!

And this pregnant large family mama NEEDS her coffee!

Our mornings are similar except my baby usually gets up around 7:30a or everyone piles in our room and wakes the baby up then I feed him. We usually get to group homeschool subjects around 9/9:30a depending on how the night went with our daughter with special needs waking up and needing help. The days are long and the nights short these days, but God is faithful and I’m trying to enjoy the journey!

I used to LOVE mornings! I would get up at 5:45 or 6 when I was teaching but after crossing the threshold of 4 kids I despise mornings because I am so sleep deprived 😂🤣😂 sadly, I’m only sleep deprived because I choose to go to bed so late 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

My goodness how late do your kids sleep in?? And they are so calm and quiet! My two are up at 6.30am steaming in my room like the Tasmanian devil demanding breakfast and get up mumma! Chase me! Tickle me!! They would be trying to grab that camera too I wouldn’t get a look in 😂
