Here's how to put iPhone 14 into recovery mode
In case you encounter a problem with your iPhone 14, or you want to set it up again, you can simply place your iPhone into recovery mode. You can erase data, and update your iPhone through the recovery mode.

To access recovery mode on iPhone 14, simply press the volume up button once, then volume down once, then press and hold the power button.

Thanks. It worked. Warning -- make sure your itunes is updated or it may fail to enter restore when you click on it [my mac didnt work or tell me why but my windows machine said it couldn't resfore until itunes updated. Once itunes updated it worked!

If I were to put the phone into recovery mode and then try to reinstall the latest ios firmware (16.5) without backing up the device, would that lead to the loss of any data? Takes a while to create a backup, so that's why I'm asking.
